i originally wrote this on 3/27/09... figured what the heck, why not post it, after all? ...
The saying, "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink," isn't true; you can shove its head under until it's forced to take in water... but you just may end up drowning the horse in the process.
Hmmm... I wonder which is the best plan of action in this situation: A) let the horse die of thirst; B) drown it; C) or just continue to hope it'll come to its senses and take a drink on its own (in which case, see selection A, above)?
Maybe the saying should've been about a stubborn ol' mule, rather than a horse. Ha!
