Reinar finally got the job offer he's been waiting for, to be hired on as more than a contract employee - eligible for insurance bennies, 401k, vacation, sick time, paid holidays. Yay!
Reality check: To accept the offer, R had to take a large pay cut. Ouch! and Damn! I honestly don't know how we're going to manage, since we already cut back on stuff in order for me to do home school with the two boys. Things will be better by summer, at least partially, with planned moves and increased day care, but that's not for another six months.
If we could sell one (or both!) of our Goldsboro projects - like, tomorrow!- that would definitely help. Of course, they'd actually have to be ready to sell, be on the market, and be hot commodities for either of them to sell anytime soon.
So, it's back to the budget spreadsheet to see what else we can do without. Maybe it's back to buying lotto tickets too. hehehe
